ForLuxeSake was founded in 2019 and initially was all about Occaisonwear, providing 'the prettiest' pieces that you couldn't find on the high-street and that you didn't have to break the bank for. BUT obviously we've had to switch things up this year and adapt to the current situ. So in 2020 FLS has had a number of different kind of products on site and being honest lost it's identity slightly. 2020 has been exceptionally tough (FOR EVERYONE) but for ForLuxesake there have been so many lessons learned (most the hard way) we can only use these as a learning curve for the future to become bigger and better. In November (just before lockdown 2.0 was announced) we took the gamble and decided to shoot our AW range on a professional model (huge step for a small business but i am so glad we did it!) This range is all about comfort & luxury, focusing on easy to wear versatile styles that can be dressed up or down (even if we are just staying at home).

Currently I am working on our plans for 2021, as there is still so much uncertainty it's difficult to plan a product range, so instead I'm taking the time to plan and improve how I run the business, the this includes a lot of changes but the biggest thing for me as a business owner will be incorporating myself into my brand, something I have never done before (and I am pretty scared if I'm honest). So to begin with, here's a bit about me, my background and how ForLuxeSake was started.

Prior to setting up ForLuxeSake I worked in Fashion Merchandising for over 10 years. I worked for 2 of the biggest names in Manchester based fast fashion which means I've had some pretty inspirational bosses. I was also lucky enough to part of the initial set up for one of those brands, I got to witness the highs and lows, and most importantly experience and overcome the issues faced by a new business.

Originally ForLuxeSake started as a hobby towards the end of my Maternity Leave, a kind of 'see how it goes' sort of thing as i decided not to return to work, now almost 2 years later it's looking like it will be so much more. Currently I can only dedicate 3 days a week and a few hours over the weekend to my business (mum life!) but I am hoping to be able to spend more time in the upcoming months.

I'll be adding more details soon, but for now, thanks for taking the time to read this and supporting my business.
